Building on the success of Curating Development and the Beyond Myself exhibitions in London, Manila and Hong Kong, project partners Kanlungan Filipino Consortium in London developed and ran a series of free community-based creative workshops to enable and promote mental health wellbeing among Filipinos residing in the areas of Waltham Forest and Newham. Funded by the People’s Health Trust the project worked with Ameeta Lodhia and Sarah Reid to curate Exhibiting the Mind at Stratford Library in March, 2019 which showcased art and images from the workshops, some of which are described in the posts that follow.
